Speakeasy Event Wrap Up

May 14

On April 3, 2014, Avergan Foundation held it’s Hush-Hush Speakeasy at Crush Kitchen & Winehouse in Annapolis. The event was filled with all the fun and flair of the Gatsby-era – complete with flappers and fedoras. From the decor to the guests, the place looked like a speakeasy bar, right out of the 1920′s. Over 60 guests enjoyed food and drink by Crush, a vintage vaudeville hoop performance by Spinabelle Lee and even learned a few steps of the Charleston! Live music was provided by local artists, Jill and Don Davolio and Mixing Maryland kept the party rolling with music, well into the evening. Guests got to leave the party with an adorable photo or two from the Booth Love photobooth. Special thanks to Friends Foundation for sponsoring the event and to all the local vendors that made the night a huge success! Avergan Foundation raised just over $4000 to support their scholarship programs for children on the autism spectrum. Thanks so much to all who attended! {All photos below by Christine Barker Photography – please credit appropriately}
